02-12-2007 New album update & more!
We are nearly done writing all the songs for our upcoming record, which we will start recording December 3. Just like with 'Drawing Circles', we have chosen to record at Split Second Sound with production being handled by our guitar player Jochem Jacobs.

We expect to wrap the recording up, mixing and mastering by the end of January. While in the studio we will keep you updated by doing four video web-episodes which will be shot by our bass player Remko Tielemans. They will be exclusively posted on our myspace page mid-December.

We will have more news on the upcoming album and shows in the near future.

30-10-2007 New album update & more
Here's an update covering what's happening in the Textures camp while we are preparing to hit the studio in December to record our new album. More news on this in the coming weeks.

Vocalist Eric Kalsbeek recorded the vocals for a new 'The Ocean' song titled "Legion of Winged Octopi" which will be on their new album 'Precambrian' which will see its release on Metal blade on the 5th of November. You can already check it out on their Myspace.

Stef Broks is playing drums in his side project 'Exivious' next to rocking out in 'Tesseract'. Jochem Jacobs is busy with his studio 'Split Second Sound', where he's producing albums for In-quest and Forcefeed, amongst others.

Lastly, poor Richard Rietdijk had some bad luck lately. A few weeks back in the middle of the night someone threw a Molotov cocktail through the window of his car totally burning it down to the ground.

More news soon!

Due to personal reasons, our bass player Dennis has decided to leave the band and focus on his personal life for a while. We're surely going to miss him! We wish him tons of luck in all his future endeavors and thank him for all these years of fun, crazy heavy music and crushing the stage with us.

We're currently in the process of finding a new bass player; Michel 'MuD' Quak will temporarily replace Dennis during the upcoming Cynic show and UK Tour. We'll keep you posted.

21-06-2007 - Textures update
Here is an update on the latest happenings in the Textures camp - plus what we're planning to do for the rest of the year. The last few months we've had some amazing shows all over Europe. Horns up to everyone who came out to support us!

We are gearing ourselves up for Graspop Festival, a show with the legendary progmetallers Cynic here in The Netherlands, a UK tour, various appearances at Dutch Festivals/shows and an exclusive performance at Alhama Metal Madness in Spain. These will be the last shows we'll do in support of the Drawing Circles album.

In September we will continue writing our new album, which we hope to start recording in November. We set our minds to a 2008 Spring release, of course followed by a big number of new shows to support the new material. We can't wait to crush you all with new songs!

Thank you for all your support!
